Production Planner Our growing Laconia, NH client needs a well-organized Production Planner for their team! This full-time, first-shift role is responsible for coordinating and executing the completion of its assigned production lines. Responsibilities of the Production Planner Review master production schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders Plan and schedule workflow for each department and operation Release work orders daily to operations that meet the master production schedule Communicate with purchasing and master planning regarding material requirements to support releases and work in process Confer with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects Expedite operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency, safety, quality, production, and cost savings Maintain and promote a clean, FOD free, and organized work area Qualifications of the Production Planner College degree, 1-3 years of related experience/training, or equivalent combination of education and experience Basic math and computer skills Ability to interpret blueprints and written/verbal instructions and use precision measurement tools Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently as well as a team Ability to adapt to changing situations Visual acuity and ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
