Full Job Description Job Title:
Production Planner Reporting to: Operations Manager Responsibilities Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules based on customer requirements, due dates, material availability and production capacity. Coordinate production schedules with operations manager and production supervisor Review incoming orders and determine the appropriate production sequence and timing Ensure all required raw materials, inks, adhesives, packaging material and other components are available before production begins. Collaborate closely with purchasing and logistics to identify material shortages or delays and adjust schedules accordingly. Monitor production progress and update schedules when jobs are delayed, expedited, or otherwise changed. Prioritize jobs based on customer due dates, production capacity, material availability and company priorities. Communicate schedule changes and production priorities to production personnel, customer service and managers. Coordinate multiple jobs simultaneously while minimizing downtime, changeovers, and production bottlenecks. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in production planning, scheduling, manufacturing, or related field. Experience in a printing or flexible packaging manufacturing environment preferred. Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and visualization of key production metrics. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work effectively with production, operations, materials purchasing and shipping Strong attention to detail and accuracy
