Job Description

Job Title:
Production Planner Pay:
$55-65k Description Issue production work orders as required for sales orders, toll work or stock replenishment Coordinate with purchasing team to ensure raw materials are scheduled for maximum efficiency Develop and optimize production schedule per equipment to ensure customer requested ship dates are met and maximum efficiency realized Oversee and support customer service with providing confirmation dates for all sales orders so as to ensure the customers receive in a timely fashion and update with any revisions accordingly Prioritize Quality Control work load for pre-ship and final sample analysis where required Coordinate toll processing work directly with customers to optimize production schedule while to meeting customer requirements Update customer service with any changes in schedule as it relates to availability of manufactured products promised against sales orders Oversee the schedule and delivery of raw materials from other warehouses to meet production requirements Plan packaging requirements, stock and ordering to support production requirements Ensure data is entered into electronic storage accurately and compile inventory reports as required Investigate inventory problems and discrepancies Present reports and recommendations to management Maintains inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs Counts and reconciles randomly chosen part numbers and/or locations Ensures compliance to inventory processes and procedures as well as compliance to contractual obligations Perform job duties in a sage and conscientious manner, following all procedures, programs, and policies established for specific processes Other duties as required and assigned Skills High school diploma or equivalent Previous manufacturing experience Strong analytical and math proficiency Ability to systematically troubleshoot and problem solve integrated processes Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Good communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mansfield, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
