THE WORK

Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Manufacturing Planner. In this role, you will be a critical member of the production operations team, helping to build the world's most advanced radar systems. Manufacturing planners are responsible for managing all material on the production floor, from a tiny screw to a 30 foot tall Vertical Launching System Module. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of material and supply chain management, lean manufacturing principles, and Microsoft office tools such as excel.

You are a detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in supply chain management and the analytical skills necessary to coordinate complex material requirements. You possess the ability to communicate effectively across multiple platforms to ensure seamless production operations. A level 2 employee is typically an early professional and has around 1+ years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:

• Degree from an accredited college in a Business, STEM or similarly related discipline (i.e. supply chain management, mechanical/industrial/manufacturing engineering, etc.)
• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, procurement or other relevant area.
• Experience using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Teams)
• Experience communicating with peers, leadership, and internal customers effectively on multiple platforms

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $49,700 - $87,515. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
