$24.00/hour About the Opportunity A leading global manufacturer in the flavor and fragrance industry is seeking a Planning Intern to join its team in Mount Olive, NJ. You will work alongside experienced planning and operations professionals while gaining exposure to inventory management, production planning, forecasting, supply availability, and data analysis. Responsibilities Support day-to-day supply chain and production planning activities. Assist with maintaining inventory levels to support customer demand and production requirements. Prepare and maintain planning reports, supply trackers, and inventory data. Analyze planning and inventory information to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. Work closely with Production, Quality, Raw Materials, and other cross-functional teams to support material availability and production schedules. Assist with monitoring inventory and identifying potential supply issues. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve planning processes and operational efficiency. Support additional supply chain and planning projects as needed. Qualifications Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field. Strong interest in Supply Chain, Operations, Planning, or Manufacturing. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Experience with PivotTables, data analysis, or reporting is preferred. Experience with SAP or another ERP system is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn.
