Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the efficient movement of materials and products throughout our supply chain, ensuring seamless coordination between procurement, warehousing, transportation, and distribution. Your expertise will drive process improvements, optimize inventory management, and support our commitment to excellence in logistics operations. Duties Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments Schedule deliveries and pickups with carriers Track shipments and provide status updates Prepare shipping documents, invoices and related records Coordinate with warehouses, suppliers, drivers, customers and internal teams Monitor inventory and resolve shortages or delays Compare freight costs and help select carriers Handle shipment problems such as delays, damaged goods or incorrect deliveries Enter and maintain information in
ERP/TMS/WMS
systems Help improve delivery times and reduce transportation costs These responsibilities align closely with the broader U.S. logistics occupation, which includes coordinating purchasing, transportation, inventory, warehousing, supplliers and customers. Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, transportation, purchasing or inventory can also be valuable. Technical Skills; Microsoft Excel, ERP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics, Transportation Management Systems(TMS), Warehouse Management Systems(WMS), Inventory management, Shipping/receiving documentation, Basic data analysis and reporting. Communication Skills, Organization and multitasking, Problem Solving, Time Management, Attention to
Detail, Negotiation Skills and Customer Service Skill Sets Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree in one or more of these: Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management and/or International Business. In addition, experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, transportation, purchasing or inventory can also be valuable Excellent cross-functional communication skills to coordinate between procurement, warehouse operations, transportation teams, and customer service.
