Job Purpose Coordinate import, export, and domestic transportation activities while ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company policies. This position serves as a key liaison between suppliers, freight forwarders, warehouses, carriers, and internal departments to support efficient and cost-effective movement of goods. The role also contributes to process improvement initiatives, logistics reporting, and supply chain optimization efforts. Role & Responsibilities Import & Transportation Coordination Coordinate inbound shipments via ocean, air, truck and parcel carriers. Monitor and track shipments from origin to final destination. Communicate with suppliers, carriers, custom brokers, and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery. Resolve transportation delays, shipment discrepancies, and freight issues. Maintain shipment records and logistics documentation in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements. Processing receiving registration in SAP Export and International Logistics Prepare and review export shipping documents (E.g. Commercial invoice, SLI, DG Declaration). Coordinate freight pickups and export shipments with logistics providers. Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations and company export control procedures. Maintain export logs and records Compliance and Documentation Support import and export compliance activities. Verify accuracy of shipment documents, tariff classifications, and logistics records. Maintain required documentation in accordance with customs and regulatory requirements. Assist with customs audits, recordkeeping, and process documentation Logistics Operations Support Coordinate operational activities with third-party warehouses and service providers. Process logistics transactions and support order fulfillment activities. Maintain transportation and warehouse performance metrics. Identify opportunities to reduce transportation costs and improve operational performance. Reconciliation and approval of freight cost. Assist with inventory-related logistics activities as needed. Support cross-functional projects involving Supply Chain, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Finance. Continuous Improvement
- Key User Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency and service levels.
Strong Computer skills:
