Logistics Coordinator CleanFiber - 2.5 Blasdell, NY Job Details Full-time From $25 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Data management Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Full Job Description Position Summary CleanFiber is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and systems-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support our fast-paced shipping, receiving, dock, and yard operations. This position serves as the central coordination point for daily ShippingReceiving activity, managing the systems, scheduling, paperwork, and real-time flow of information needed to keep the operation running smoothly. The ideal candidate is comfortable multitasking across several computer screens and systems simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and communicating changing priorities to the ShippingReceiving Lead and floor team. This is not simply a desk position. The Logistics Coordinator must understand what is happening on the docks and in the yard and provide the ShippingReceiving Lead with the accurate, timely "play-by-play" needed to execute the daily plan. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate the daily flow of inbound deliveries, outbound shipments, transfers, live loads, preloads, and trailer movements. Monitor multiple systems and screens simultaneously to track changing operational priorities. Maintain and update shipping schedules, appointments, trailer assignments, order statuses, and other logistics information. Communicate the daily dock and yard play-by-play to the ShippingReceiving Lead for execution by the floor team. Coordinate carrier and driver check-in and check-out and communicate with carriers as needed. Prepare, review, and maintain shipping and receiving paperwork, including bills of lading, packing slips, load sheets, and related documentation. Ensure required information and documentation are completed accurately and on time. Monitor activities from start through completion and ensure transactions are properly updated and closed out in the applicable systems. Identify potential scheduling, inventory, carrier, dock, or trailer issues and escalate them before they disrupt operations. Work closely with ShippingReceiving, Production, Quality, Sales, and other departments to maintain an accurate and timely flow of information. Assist with other logistics and ShippingReceiving administrative responsibilities as required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Candidates should be comfortable learning and working within multiple systems simultaneously. Strong computer and multitasking skills Proficiency with Google Sheets Proficiency with Google Calendar and Gmail Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly Success in this position requires more than computer skills. We are looking for someone who is: Highly organized and able to manage several priorities simultaneously Able to work with a sense of urgency without sacrificing accuracy Dependable and punctual-consistent attendance and on-time arrival are critical to this role A clear and effective communicator Professional, courteous, and respectful when working with drivers, carriers, coworkers, and other departments Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change throughout the day Proactive and able to recognize what needs attention rather than waiting to be told every next step Able to remain calm and organized when several things are happening at once Team-oriented and willing to help wherever needed to keep the operation moving Experience Experience working with spreadsheets and maintaining accurate operational data required NetSuite experience preferred Warehouse Management System experience preferred Shipping, receiving, transportation, warehouse, or logistics experience strongly preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, noise and moving equipment Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when Work Schedule This position will be assigned to one of the following 12-hour day-shift rotations:
A Shift:
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday, 7:00 a.m.-7:30 p.m.
C Shift:
Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday, 7:00 a.m.-7:30 p.m. This position requires flexibility to work overtime, including on scheduled days off, when needed to support operational coverage. Employees are expected to be available for and fulfill these assignments when scheduled by management, subject to applicable law and approved accommodations.
