Onsite Job Description Job Description:

Team in Commercial Aircraft Group is looking for a Logistics Technician II to join them.

You will report to the Inventory Control and Stockroom Lead and will have an onsite, 3rd shift (11:00p-7:30a) work schedule in East Aurora, New York.

Responsibilities:

Perform various physical and transactional process-based operations supporting production, repair, development and non-production (MRO) requirements of the business.

These processes include Material Delivery, Kit Pull, Material Stocking, Receiving, and Packaging.

Develop working knowledge of several software applications including internal business systems.

Responsible for receiving, packaging, counting, and locating parts appropriately.

Frequent lift and bend during processing of hardware. For articles that are a heavy lift cranes and lift carts will be provided and will be utilized.

Prioritize daily activities in processing received hardware.

Communicate with shop leads and repair operations to ensure daily targets are met.

Work with engineering, quality, and customer service representatives.

Handle emergencies and coordinate evacuations.

Answer incoming calls and coordinate communication to all associates on the shift.

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

At least 3 years of Material Handling/ Logistics experience.
