Position Summary:

Sage Commerce is a growing multi-channel e-commerce company operating across Amazon and numerous other online marketplaces. We manage a diverse product catalog supported by internal warehouse operations, Amazon FBA, direct-to-consumer fulfillment, and external transportation partners. We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to lead the execution and continuous improvement of our transportation and Amazon FBA logistics operations. This role serves as the critical connection between warehouse operations, Amazon's fulfillment network, Sellercloud, transportation providers, and internal stakeholders. The Logistics Coordinator will ensure shipments are accurately planned, booked, documented, dispatched, tracked, and financially optimized. This is a hands-on position requiring strong operational execution, financial awareness, problem-solving, and the ability to build scalable logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Amazon FBA & Inbound Logistics Own FBA shipment execution from warehouse completion through carrier handoff and Amazon receipt. Manage shipment workflows within Sellercloud and Amazon Seller Central / Send to Amazon. Validate carton quantities, weights, dimensions, pallet configuration, labels, and shipment documentation. Determine appropriate shipment methods, including SPD, LTL, and FTL. Evaluate Amazon fulfillment center destinations, shipment splits, inbound placement options, and placement fees. Coordinate BOLs, PRO numbers, pallet/carton labels, carrier appointments, and required documentation. Monitor shipments through delivery and Amazon receiving and resolve shortages, delays, rejected shipments, and other exceptions.

FBM Transportation & Carrier Management:

Manage transportation supporting Sage's FBM and other e-commerce fulfillment operations. Coordinate and evaluate parcel, LTL, FTL, regional, and other transportation providers. Obtain and compare freight quotes and book transportation using both integrated and external carriers. Evaluate carrier/service options based on cost, delivery requirements, shipment characteristics, and operational needs. Manage shipping exceptions, lost/damaged shipments, claims, and carrier reimbursements. Monitor carrier performance, service reliability, and transportation costs. Support carrier negotiations and identify opportunities for improved rates and service.

Logistics Cost Management & Analytics:

Monitor freight cost per shipment, cost per unit, and other key transportation expenses. Evaluate Amazon placement fees against alternative shipment-splitting and transportation strategies. Identify avoidable freight charges, accessorials, and inefficient routing decisions. Analyze transportation spending by carrier, service, destination, shipment type, and marketplace. Identify shipment consolidation and freight-cost reduction opportunities. Partner with Operations and Finance to improve logistics cost visibility and reporting

Warehouse & Cross-Functional Coordination:

Partner closely with FBA, FBM, Warehouse Operations, Inventory, Purchasing, Customer Service, Finance, and leadership. Confirm shipment readiness before transportation is booked. Coordinate pickup schedules, dock requirements, carrier arrivals, and shipment staging. Resolve shipment discrepancies before carrier handoff. Prevent completed shipments from remaining unnecessarily staged due to logistics delays. Proactively communicate shipment risks, delays, exceptions, and financial impacts.

Required Qualifications:

3-5+ years of logistics, transportation, e-commerce fulfillment, warehouse logistics, or related supply-chain experience. Experience coordinating parcel, LTL, and/or FTL transportation. Strong understanding of carrier booking, freight documentation, and shipment tracking. Experience operating within a high-volume warehouse or e-commerce environment. Strong Microsoft Excel and analytical skills. Ability to evaluate transportation rates and make cost-based shipping decisions. Experience managing shipment exceptions and carrier claims. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Direct Amazon FBA inbound logistics experience. Amazon Seller Central / Send to Amazon experience. Sellercloud experience strongly preferred. Experience with Amazon inbound placement options and placement fees. Experience with Amazon Partnered and non-partnered carrier workflows. UPS, FedEx, USPS, regional parcel, LTL, and FTL experience. Freight procurement or carrier-rate negotiation experience. Power BI or advanced logistics reporting experience. Experience supporting a multi-marketplace e-commerce organization.

The Logistics Coordinator should understand how transportation decisions affect warehouse capacity, inventory availability, Amazon FBA performance, customer fulfillment, and operating cost.

Pay:

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
