The Circulation Coordinator is responsible for handling the day-to-day customer service, clerical, and operational needs of our circulation operation. This position is responsible for a variety of tasks and responsibilities within home delivery, mail delivery, retail sales, and accounting functions in our operation. The Circulation Coordinator job duties can entail but are not limited to: preparing paperwork such as bills and invoices, posting payments and working with the administrative staff, preparing mailing lists and postal reports, maintaining accurate data, communicating with contract delivery personnel and production team, assisting in subscriber marketing programs, working with our customers on service related issues, and all other duties and special projects as assigned, including occasional deliveries. This individual will conduct themselves in accordance with company policies and procedures, ensure quality customer service and professional representation when dealing with customers, retailers or the general public, and use sound judgment and discretion at all times. They will be expected to meet regular attendance goals of the company, relate well with other employees and managers, and perform according to company expectations. This individual will maintain a professional, courteous manner when dealing with contractors and customers.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Good time management skills with the ability to perform assigned tasks efficiently and safely in a deadline-driven environment.
- Basic computer skills such as MS Word, Excel, Gmail and be able to learn proprietary circulation management systems.
- Neat, clean appearance conforming to department policy.
- Ability to accurately count and use basic math skills.
- Ability to effectively receive and relay information and instructions.
- Good phone and email communication skills
- Ability to coordinate several tasks simultaneously within a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to function with minimum direct supervision.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Clean driving record.
