We are looking for someone who loves teaching both kids and adults, and is enthusiastic about what they do. This is a traveling position where you will be teaching private piano students in their home. Students can range from complete beginners to advanced. We start with children as young as 4 years old so being patient, loving, and creative is a must! This is a self employment position underneath our company. Currently we are looking to hire someone who can work 4-5 days after school. Teaching hours are form 3PM-8:30PM, however if there is a high demand for adults or children that are homeschooled teachers can start earlier if preferred. We are also willing to work with someone who has a regular day job and wants supplemental teaching in the evenings and can teach 5-8:30pm. You must reside within a 30 minute distance of Syracuse to apply for this position. Responsibilities Be willing to travel to students homes to teach private 1 on 1 piano lessons Provide individualized instruction to each student based on age and experience Must be patient, loving, and enthusiastic when teaching Must be able to work after school hours and into the evening Able to drive up to 30 minutes away from home location to teach private students Skills Thorough knowledge of piano playing and ability 2+ years of teaching experience or 15+ years of playing/performing piano without teaching experience
