About the Role As a Warehouse Logistics Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining the seamless flow of goods within our fast-paced facility. By leveraging your expertise in forklift operation and inventory management, you will ensure that production lines remain stocked and customer orders are fulfilled with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities Execute shipping and receiving tasks, including loading trucks, scanning labels, and finalizing shipping documentation to ensure timely delivery. Maintain a constant supply of materials to production lines using forklifts and tugger carts to prevent operational downtime. Manage inventory accuracy through diligent cycle counting and the application of FIFO (First-In, First-Out) storage practices. Process incoming shipments and organize warehouse stock to optimize space and accessibility. Prepare, band, and package finished goods for transit while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve logistics discrepancies and support continuous improvement in warehouse operations. Uphold a clean and organized work environment by managing waste disposal and facility upkeep. Required Skills High School Diploma or GED. Proven experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or distribution setting. Proficiency with pallet jacks and various material handling equipment. Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, and inventory control workflows. Preferred Skills Experience with ERP or inventory management software systems. Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate electronic and physical records. Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality compliance standards.
