This role supports daily delivery and logistics operations by coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, assisting with delivery scheduling, dispatching and routing. The afternoon logistics assistant helps maintain accurate records, prepares documentation, and communicates with drivers, warehouse staff, and customer service representatives to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Responsibilities Monitor driver's workload Assist in in next day routing Finalize end day deliveries and pickups Comply with company safety procedures Maintain communication with team to ensure efficient afternoon and evening workflow Qualification Candidate should possess strong management and purchasing skills to support routing, scheduling and basic procurement activities Candidate should possess solid customer service skills to communicate clearly with internal team, drivers and customers. Ability to use basic inventory software, office applications and communication tools effectively. Relevant experience in warehousing, transportation or delivery operations is beneficial.
