About the
Role:
The Demand Planning Team at Kalmbach Feeds is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Senior Production Planner. This role works closely with procurement, inventory control, production, quality, and logistics teams to balance customer demand, material availability, and production capacity while meeting delivery commitments and operational goals. Serving in this role is an exciting opportunity to be an agent of change in a company that is growing rapidly and focused on our customers.
Primary Responsibilities:
Analyze gaps in supply and/or internal capacity that are causing service issues and drive actions to improve performance.

Perform regular analysis to evaluate issues that could arise from changes in the demand plan or supply plan.

Maintain, update, and build PowerBI reports that drive overall planning performance, efficiency and accuracyAid in the development and execution of demand forecasting processesDefine process and / or system gaps effectively optimizing and systematizing with a continuous improvement mindset.

Execute on daily production scheduling, working closely with operations teams to improve the scheduling process
The Right Candidate:
Strong analytical skills with experience working through complex problems and driving resolutionExperience working with Microsoft Office products and an ERP system are required.

PowerBI or equivalent data visualization toolset experience are requiredMeticulous with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Self-motivated / directed, and can easily function in a high-demand, high-performance culture.

Ability to quickly learn new systems and tools are a must.

Advanced critical thinking skills with the ability to work cross functionally to resolve issues.

Bachelors degree, in business or related field with 2+ years of experience within supply chain or operations required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
