Monday through Friday 8am-5pm Job Summary We are seeking a Materials Specialist / Buyer / Supply Chain professional to support purchasing and supply chain operations. The role will be responsible for processing requisitions, managing purchase orders, handling urgent purchasing needs, and resolving credit-related issues to ensure timely availability of materials and supplies. Key Responsibilities Process purchase requisitions and route them for appropriate approval. Place and manage rush orders as needed. Review and close open purchase orders. Resolve credit hold issues and coordinate with relevant departments and vendors. Support day-to-day purchasing and supply chain activities. Maintain accurate purchasing and order records. Communicate with internal departments and suppliers regarding orders, approvals, and purchasing issues. Mandatory Qualifications Candidates must meet one of the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution, OR Associate's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution AND 3 years of related experience, OR 6 years of experience as a Buyer in lieu of a degree. Physical Environment May be required to sit or stand for extended periods. Ability to perform routine work in a purchasing/supply chain environment. Must be able to communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
