This role primarily supports Shipping and Stockroom operations , with additional responsibilities in cycle counting and inventory control . The position will also receive cross-training in Receiving, Raw Stock, Parts Identification, and other Logistics functions. Key Responsibilities Shipping Prepare parts and materials for safe shipment. Package products according to company specifications. Complete shipping paperwork, labels, air bills, and bills of lading. Interpret customer shipping requirements and specifications. Schedule shipments with carriers and track deliveries. Prepare shipment markings and documentation. Stockroom & Inventory Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies. Receive, identify, and store incoming materials. Pick parts to fulfill production orders. Maintain inventory records using company computer systems. Process requisitions, shortages, and inventory transactions. Receiving Receive incoming shipments at the dock. Verify quantities and documentation. Enter receiving information into company systems. Route materials to the appropriate departments. Raw Stock Receive and verify raw materials. Load and unload trucks. Cut raw materials to specifications (when required). Move materials to designated storage locations. Report shortages or material issues. Perform minor equipment maintenance. Parts Identification Identify and mark parts using blueprints and work instructions. Apply required identification markings accurately. General Responsibilities Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement activities. Participate in 5S and team improvement projects. Cross-train to support other Logistics functions as needed. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 1 year of warehouse, logistics, shipping, receiving, stockroom, or inventory experience Basic computer skills Ability to perform basic math calculations Ability to read work instructions and documentation Strong communication and teamwork skills Manual dexterity and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Preferred Forklift certification (or ability to obtain) Experience with inventory management systems or MRP software Experience operating warehouse equipment Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs. Stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift. Ability to pass a vision exam (including near vision, distance vision, and color perception). Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment when required.
