Job Description
Eaton's AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division is currently seeking a Planner. This position will be located at our Euclid, OH facility. The Planner is responsible for executing and coordinating the daily production schedule for Assigned Vale Stream operations. This role manages work order releases, material escalations, inventory integrity, production documentation, and shop floor priorities to ensure customer commitments are achieved. The position serves as the primary scheduling and execution resource between Operations, Materials, Stockroom, and Value Stream teams to maintain schedule attainment and material flow. The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you'll do:
- Release work orders within established Clear-to-Release (CTR) windows to support customer delivery requirements and production priorities.
- Monitor work order status and coordinate activities to ensure orders progress through the appropriate production queues and workflow stag.
- Identify, investigate, and escalate material shortages, supply constraints, and inventory issues that may impact schedule attainment or customer commitments.
- Generate, print, and distribute bulk picklists for support efficient material staging and execution.
- Manage outsource process and supporting documentation necessary for execution and fulfillment.
- Prepare and maintain Tier 2 operational data, production metrics, and schedule updates to support daily management reviews and performance discussions.
- Generate and distribute work prioritization reports to support shop floor execution and customer delivery requirements.
- Partner with Network Scheduling, Operations, Materials, Quality, Stockroom, and Value Stream leadership to resolve schedule disruptions and improve production flow.
- Own MRB and Scrap Transactions.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in production scheduling, materials planning, manufacturing operations, or supply chain execution.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Experience supporting aerospace, repair, overhaul, or aftermarket manufacturing environments.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production control processes.
Position Success Criteria:
- Strong understanding of inventory management, WIP control, and material transactions.
- Microsoft Excel skills and ability to analyze operational data.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of Materials Requirements Planning and ERP systems/MFGPro.
- Strong computer and data analysis skills (i.e. Excel, Access, database management).
- Responsible for work assignments with increasing difficulty requiring increase scope and knowledge.
- Thorough understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding production planning, inventory control, purchasing, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping/receiving.
