Key Qualifications and Experience:

Current state licensure in Special Education for K-2 (or eligible for licensure) Experience teaching in a self-contained classroom, preferably with students with multiple disabilities (MH) Proficiency supporting both verbal and nonverbal students, using alternative communication methods or devices Knowledge of individualized education program (IEP) development and implementation Strong skills in classroom management, adapting curriculum, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching young children with moderate to intensive needs

Primary Responsibilities:
