Job Description

Company Overview Pipeline Packaging is an employee-owned company and a leading distributor of rigid industrial packaging solutions. Since its founding in 1988, the company has expanded to eight locations nationwide, dedicated to serving customers with resourcefulness, customer-centricity, and a commitment to quality and timely delivery. Pipeline Packaging is seeking a Purchasing Intern to join our Supply Chain Department. This internship offers college-level students practical, hands-on professional experience to enhance and complement their academic learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management:
Collect and update missing data attributes for part numbers. •
Supplier Coordination:
Contact suppliers to follow up on late orders and expedite deliveries. •
Order Administration:
Confirm Purchase Orders (POs) in Oracle and manage dock appointment calendars. •
Logistics Support:
Coordinate and set up freight transportation. •
Pricing Updates:
Assist the team with supplier price uploads.
Qualifications:
Education:
Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. •
Communication:
Strong written and verbal communication skills. •
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). •
Adaptability:
