Job Description

Job Overview Troymill is looking for a dependable, organized Transportation & Shipping Coordinator to manage daily truck scheduling and help support our company drivers. This position is responsible for coordinating pickups and deliveries, communicating with drivers, and helping maintain required driver and transportation compliance records. The right person will be comfortable handling changing priorities, solving problems, and keeping our trucks moving efficiently. Responsibilities Schedule company trucks, drivers, pickups, and deliveries Coordinate outside carriers when needed Communicate daily schedules and changes with drivers Work with production and shipping teams to coordinate outgoing loads Assist drivers with delivery, scheduling, and paperwork questions Assist with ELD and driver log compliance Maintain vehicle registration, permits, inspection, and insurance records Assist with fuel, mileage, and transportation reporting Help resolve delays, breakdowns, delivery issues, and schedule changes Keep accurate and organized shipping and transportation records Qualifications Strong organizational and communication skills Comfortable managing multiple schedules and priorities Dependable and able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment Good computer and data-entry skills Experience in shipping, transportation, dispatching, trucking, or logistics preferred DOT or CDL compliance experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, communicates well with drivers and coworkers, and can keep transportation operations organized throughout the day. Previous trucking or dispatch experience is helpful, but reliability, organization, and the ability to learn are just as important.
Pay:
$19.00 - $24.00 per hour
