Job Posting External Job Duties Freight Invoicing - Receive and process paper and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) carrier invoices for assigned carriers. Verify correct base rates, freight class, and discounts have been applied. Process overcharge claims and communicate with carriers on invoice discrepancies, incomplete, or missing supporting documentation. Ensure customers were billed correctly for prepaid and add shipments. Review carrier aging report and process aged invoices as needed. Work with carrier to fix any systematic invoicing issues. Perform other duties as assigned. Spend and Savings Reporting - Compile and maintain documentation that tracks spend and savings associated with the auditing process. Prepare reports to present these findings to upper management when requested. Vendor Invoicing - Monitor freight charges included on invoices from Vendors. Work with supply chain personnel to determine if charges are valid and should be paid. Minimum Qualifications No experience required High school graduate or equivalent Preferred Qualifications One to two years related experience. Must be detail oriented with a high level of attention to accuracy. Analytical and problem-solving skills are required. Should possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This position will require an excellent level of verbal and written communication skills, as well as advanced interpersonal and computer skills. Microsoft Office Suite experience is required. SAP, Mapper and Bann experience is a plus.
