Job Description

Position Summary The Logistics Customer Service Representative serves as the primary link between customers, carriers, and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for managing orders, coordinating shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced distribution environment. Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Order Management Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, inventory, and shipments. Enter and maintain customer orders accurately. Provide shipment updates, delivery timelines, and inventory information. Communicate service issues, delays, and scheduling changes. Transportation & Logistics Coordination Schedule inbound and outbound freight with carrier partners. Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments. Track shipments and resolve transportation issues as needed. Prepare Bills of Lading and shipping documentation. Inventory & System Support Process inventory transactions and maintain accurate records. Support ASN requirements and customer-specific processes. Update information within WMS, customer portals, and related systems. Verify data accuracy and timely completion of transactions. Team Collaboration Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Support operational priorities and special customer requests. Follow company procedures, safety standards, and inventory control processes. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in logistics, transportation, customer service, or warehouse administration preferred. Experience with WMS or transportation systems is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to work at a computer for extended periods. Frequent use of office equipment and telephone. Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
