A Supply Chain Specialist coordinates shipments and works to improve supply chain processes at a company or organization. Procures materials and manages order prices and quantities; receives shipments and organizes inventories; forecasts demand, responds to changes in demand, and resolves supply chain issues.
Purpose of the Job The Senior Customer Associate is the first point of contact to address our customer needs and create solutions in the best interest of our customers and Owens Corning. This position collaborates with external customers and internal partners to ensure timely supply of orders. The Senior Customer Associate is a team player, adaptable to change and is an active learner who seeks out and learns market trends and behaviors. This role is part of Customer Operations within the Supply Chain Team.

OEM Supply Team Leader Job Responsibilities Servicing our Customers Understand and communicate customer expectations throughout the Supply Chain Team, and ensure all services meet customer needs by working with other functions such as the Fabrication Centers, Sales, Planning and Costing
Take proactive actions to meet customer needs and concerns creating win/win solutions
Enter orders accurately in alignment with company service guidelines
Develop close relationships with our customers and understand what it takes to ensure their success
Develop customer trust by consistently following through on actions and operating with integrity
Leverage relationships to obtain outside-in market insights
Leverage product training opportunities Live the Safety stand, adhere to the safety responsibilities Implement a personal safety action plan and review with leader
Adherence to the Owens Corning safety policies at all times Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications Undergraduate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or equivalent
SAP experience desired
Previous experience in an ever-changing, fast-paced customer service environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with data
Excellent collaboration skills with internal team across functions Preferred experience Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office platforms (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, Power BI)
