We are currently seeking an experienced Epicor Manufacturing & Supply Chain Consultant to support MST Manufacturing in Claremore, OK.
This is a project-based consulting opportunity focused on evaluating, optimizing, and automating MST Manufacturing's current planning, purchasing, scheduling, inventory, and manufacturing processes within Epicor Kinetic/E10.
This is not simply an Epicor support or power-user position. The successful candidate must combine strong Epicor technical expertise with hands-on manufacturing, purchasing, MRP, planning, and scheduling knowledge.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assess current Epicor processes across planning, purchasing, scheduling, inventory, and manufacturing
Identify manual processes that can be automated or streamlined within Epicor
Review and improve MRP, production planning, scheduling, purchasing, and material-management workflows
Configure Epicor to better support manufacturing and supply-chain operations
Develop and maintain advanced Business Activity Queries (BAQs)
Create dashboards, standard reports, exception reports, KPI reporting, and management reporting
Develop BPMs and other automation to reduce repetitive manual processes
Improve data visibility for planners, buyers, schedulers, operations personnel, and management
Review system parameters, master data, lead times, planning settings, and other inputs affecting MRP and scheduling
Assist with production scheduling setup and optimization
Develop practical tools for managing shortages, purchasing requirements, supplier performance, material availability, and production priorities
Recommend Epicor best practices rather than simply recreating existing manual processes within the ERP system
Document improved workflows and standard operating procedures
Provide hands-on training and knowledge transfer to MST employees
Support implementation and adoption of improved processes
Work directly with planning, purchasing, operations, and management teams
Perform other duties as assigned

Technical Execution - Develops BAQs, dashboards, reporting, workflows, and automation

Consultative Approach - Evaluates existing processes and recommends effective best-practice solutions
Summary of Education, Experience and Certification
Strong hands-on experience with Epicor Kinetic or Epicor E10 in a manufacturing environment required
Epicor consulting or implementation experience required
Strong MRP, production planning, and scheduling experience required
Purchasing or procurement experience required
Advanced BAQ and dashboard development experience required
Epicor BPM or process automation experience required
Reporting development experience required
Demonstrated implementation or process-improvement experience required
Experience training planners, buyers, schedulers, and other end users required
Epicor Kinetic implementation or major optimization experience strongly preferred
Background in supply chain, materials management, production control, or manufacturing operations preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Advanced functional knowledge of Epicor Kinetic/E10
Strong understanding of purchasing, procurement, MRP, production planning, scheduling, inventory, and material management
Advanced ability to create BAQs, dashboards, reports, and exception-based tools
Experience developing BPMs and other Epicor automation
Ability to understand manufacturing processes and translate operational requirements into effective Epicor solutions
Ability to automate or significantly streamline manual ERP processes
Experience reviewing master data, lead times, planning parameters, and scheduling inputs
Familiarity with SSRS, Application Studio, DMT, EDA/EDD, or other Epicor reporting and automation tools preferred
Advanced Planning & Scheduling experience preferred
Experience improving purchasing and planning processes in a discrete manufacturing environment preferred
Experience developing KPI and exception-based dashboards preferred
Strong analytical, process-improvement, and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively with both shop-floor personnel and management
Ability to independently evaluate problems, recommend solutions, and implement improvements
Willingness to spend initial project time onsite in Claremore, OK
Work Environment and Physical Demands
The employee will work in office and manufacturing environments while collaborating directly with planning, purchasing, operations, and management personnel.
The position may require time on the manufacturing floor to observe current processes, evaluate operational requirements, and support implementation and end-user training.
