SALARY:
$30.00 to $32.00 per hour
LOCATION
TIGARD, OR
SCHEDULE
Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, on site

ISO certified manufacturer with an easy commute from anywhere in the Portland metro.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead and develop a Planning team made up of Schedulers, Production Expeditors, Order Entry Clerks, and Doc Control Build rolling demand forecasts and a 2 to 3 week look ahead that flags labor and capacity shortfalls before they hit the floor Evaluate open orders against material availability and partner with Purchasing when timing falls out of alignment Monitor project plans against actuals to control WIP and eliminate overproduction Own departmental performance metrics, budgets, and process improvement initiatives
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
AA or bachelor's degree in a related field, or additional relevant experience in place of a degree Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing, supply chain management, or project management Minimum of 2 years supervising a planning, scheduling, or expediting team Demonstrated ability to operate, implement, and train others on an ERP or MRP system Experience developing manufacturing instructions, routings, and process instructions Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Position requires the ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. and to move between office and manufacturing areas throughout the day. Safety glasses are recommended on the manufacturing floor outside designated safety corridors, and hearing protection is recommended near machinery.
