Full Job Description Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Production Planner to join their Manufacturing/Fabrication team. This role coordinates production planning for new order path functions and provides the Master Production Scheduler with support to meet production schedules and customer requirements. Production Planners work with the Scheduler and Expeditor when interfacing with production and project management teams on the planning and forecasting of customer orders to meet shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor order status Assess capacity plan Week 2 to 3

• Demand forecast to communicate changes in labor & capacity to improve shortfall between current plan and requirements Communicate Master Production Schedule (MPS) released jobs to Production Expeditor Review rework and scrap implications communicated by Production Scheduler and Production Expediter and Manufacturing Engineers (MFE's) Assess inventory levels
• raw, Work in Progress (WIP), and finished goods Review critical Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quote (RFQ)
• material and capacity Prepare reports on key metrics

Qualifications:

Required:

3-5+ years of recent direct experience in deadline-driven, high-volume manufacturing Strong MRP/ERP experience Self-directed problem-solving, prioritization, and strong organizational skills Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels and disciplines

Preferred:

Capacity, inventory, and demand analysis Production planning and schedule management Material allocation and shortage resolution Strong knowledge of manufacturing process technology in materials, liquid plumbing parts, control devices and mechanisms Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles

Desired:

Advanced Excel and data analytics Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; will consider candidates with additional years of experience in place of having a degree
