OBJECTIVE
The Logistics Specialist supports domestic and international logistics for TargetPath and its client brands. This role ensures best practices and standard of services on the movement of consumer electronics and related products across suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, retailers, service partners, tradeshows, and customer locations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple shipments and client priorities. They proactively identify risks, communicate clearly, and drive logistics issues through resolution.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Domestic and International Logistics Work closely with Sales Operations and Sales teams to set up and support logistics systems, partners, and requirements for client retail, distributor, dealer, e-commerce, and direct-to-consumer channels Work with partners including freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, warehouses to ensure performance levels and account support Ensure teams are able to track domestic and international shipments and provide timely status updates to clients and internal teams Work across Client accounts to ensure best practices and partner relationships for inbound and outbound logistics for tradeshows, product demonstrations, launches, and client events Document standard operating procedures and client-specific requirements for shipment trackers, issue logs, delivery records, and logistics reports Identify opportunities to improve visibility, cost, and service levels Request freight quotes and confirm delivery milestones Resolve delays, damages, missed deliveries, and other shipment exceptions Support expedited, oversized, fragile, high-value, and white-glove shipments Import, Export, and Documentation Manage international shipments from freight readiness through customs clearance and final delivery Prepare, collect, and review commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, air waybills, certificates of origin, and delivery records Coordinate with customs brokers and freight partners for timely clearance Support maintenance of HTS classifications and import documentation Warehouse, Fulfillment, and Returns Coordinate inbound and outbound activity with third-party warehouses and fulfillment partners and track service performance Investigate inventory discrepancies, shortages, damages, and fulfillment issues Coordinate inventory transfers between warehouses, service locations, retailers, and customer sites Maintain shipment records and proof-of-delivery documentation
QUALIFICATIONS
3 or more years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, supply chain, warehousing, or a related field Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments Working knowledge of air, ocean, parcel, and ground transportation Experience with warehouse management, transportation management, ERP, or order management systems Familiarity with import, export, and customs clearance processes Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple shipments, deadlines, and client priorities Strong attention to detail Ability to occasionally visit warehouses and tradeshow locations Schedule flexibility to coordinate with international partners Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
HIGHLY PREFERRED
Experience supporting consumer electronics, technology products, displays, appliances, or other high-value goods Experience with oversized, fragile, or white-glove shipments Familiarity with retail routing guides, EDI, and retailer compliance Experience supporting multiple clients or brands Experience coordinating tradeshow, convention, or event logistics
