About the
Role:
The Production Planner plays a critical role in keeping manufacturing operations running smoothly and efficiently. This position bridges planning, production, and fulfillment—balancing demand, capacity, and resources to ensure products are built on time, to spec, and with the quality our brand is known for. This is a highly visible role that requires strong organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to think several steps ahead. If you enjoy problem solving, optimizing workflows, and driving continuous improvement, this role offers both challenge and impact.
What You'll Do:
Create and manage daily, weekly, and long-term production schedules to meet demand and delivery timelines. Lead the daily GENBA communications across functional teams. Coordinate closely with fabrication, inventory, and shipping teams to align workload and priorities. Monitor production capacity, material availability, and work-in-process to prevent bottlenecks. Track production output against standards and adjust plans as needed. Support short- and long-term company growth goals through proactive planning. Maintain and support Lean Manufacturing principles company-wide, creating optimized flow. Ensure finished goods meet quality and cosmetic standards before release. Provide reporting to the Management Team. Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and process optimization. Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders to keep everyone aligned and informed.

Production schedules are realistic, efficient, and consistently met. Teams have the information and materials they need—when they need them. Delays are anticipated and resolved before they impact customers. The production floor runs with clarity, structure, and momentum.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience Minimum 5+ year experience in production planning, manufacturing coordination, or a related role (required). Experience in Resource Planning, Capacity Planning, and Production Planning. Experience in automotive, fabrication, or metal manufacturing environments (preferred). Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Production planning & resource coordination: Advanced Attention to detail & organization: Advanced Reasoning and critical thinking skills: Advanced Mathematical skills: Intermediate to Strong Computer skills (ERP/MRP systems preferred): Intermediate to Strong Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
