Logistics Coordinator Contract-to-Hire Opportunity Near New Castle, PA Pay Rate:

Up to $24.00/hour LHH is partnering with a growing company near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to hire a Logistics Coordinator on a contract-to-hire basis. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with transportation industry experience and a strong understanding of DOT regulations and Hazmat shipping requirements . Key Responsibilities Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery Communicate with carriers, vendors, and customers regarding shipment status and transportation needs Track shipments and resolve transportation issues in a timely manner Prepare and maintain shipping, receiving, Hazmat, and transportation documentation Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and hazardous materials shipping requirements Monitor inventory movement and assist with supply chain coordination Update shipment information in company systems and maintain accurate records Research and resolve delivery discrepancies and customer concerns Support the logistics and operations team with additional administrative duties as needed

Qualifications Required:

Transportation and logistics experience

Required:

Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hazmat shipping requirements Experience coordinating freight shipments and working with carriers Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and accuracy Experience with ERP systems or Transportation Management Systems (TMS) preferred Why Join?
