Job Description

Pharmacy Logistics Technician Philadelphia, PA 19104
Required Skills:
Experience in pharmacy logistics, medication distribution, or supply chain support Responsible for timely delivery and transport of medications within the hospital MUST Have Active PA License.

Onsite Panel Interviews Shift:
7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (M-F) Skills and experience: Experience in pharmacy logistics, medication distribution, or supply chain support Responsible for timely delivery and transport of medications within the hospital
Job Responsibilities:
-Medication Delivery. Perform Batch and Off Batch Production Run Delivery. Perform a Batch Production Run Delivery with Medication Cassettes. Meds to Beds Delivery from Retail Pharmacy. -Medication Expiration Date Inspection. Conduct a Medication Expiration Date Inspection in the Pharmacy Department, Nursing Units, and Ambulatory Care Site. -
Receiver/ Medication Replenishment:
Receipt of purchased medications from Manufacturer and Wholesaler. Replenishment of medications and supplies to the pharmacy medication storage shelves, Pyxis MedStation ES, and surgical centers. Retrieval of medication from Medication Storage Locations during a Pharmaceutical Recall. Investigate and correct Pyxis MedStation ES malfunctions. -
Cleaning:
Perform cleaning medication storage shelves, bins, refrigerators and Pyxis Medstations. -
Retail Pharmacy:
Reciever Register/Cashier Patient Triage Answer Phone calls
Required Skills & Experience:
Basic computer skills including use of Windows operating system.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
One (1) year of retail/hospital pharmacy experience.
Required Education:
High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Education:
N/A Required Certifications & Licensure:
