Job Description

Education Required:
Associate degree
Job Requirements:
  • 2 years of manufacturing or shop floor experience.
  • 2 years of production planning, production scheduling, or production control experience.
  • Experience using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems.
  • Experience monitoring inventory levels and managing replenishment activities.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Experience preparing reports and analyzing production data.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with manufacturing teams.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Summary:
  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on forecasted demand and manufacturing priorities.
  • Review and process MRP (Material Requirements Planning) runs to support production and inventory planning.
  • Analyze daily material shortages and coordinate timely corrective actions to minimize production disruptions.
  • Monitor inventory levels and approve replenishment recommendations generated through the MRP system.
  • Track and report on critical inventory items to ensure material availability for production.
  • Maintain accurate production planning and major equipment records.
  • Prepare and distribute production, inventory, and shop performance reports.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, inventory, and operations teams to support efficient production flow.
  • Analyze production data and planning information to improve scheduling accuracy and inventory performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, business ethics standards, and production planning procedures.
