About Classic Woodwork Classic Woodwork specializes in the design, fabrication, and installation of luxury custom cabinetry for prestigious residential projects throughout the United States. We pride ourselves on excellence, expertise, rigor, and commitment. We are seeking an experienced Accounting, Purchasing & Import/Export Coordinator to support the administrative and financial activities of our U.S. operations. This fully remote position combines accounting, purchasing, logistics, and import/export responsibilities. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy of financial transactions, maintain proper documentation, coordinate cross-border shipments, and support compliance with U.S. sales tax and customs requirements. Key Responsibilities Accounting and Administration Participate in the preparation, processing, and follow-up of customer invoices; Perform bookkeeping duties and maintain accurate financial records; Assist with the preparation and review of financial statements and reports; Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable documentation; Prepare and process applicable U.S. sales tax filings and remittances; Maintain organized records supporting financial transactions, audits, and regulatory requirements; Coordinate and process contracts, including execution and signature in accordance with delegated authority; Collaborate with the company's accounting team and external financial professionals; Perform other administrative and accounting duties as required. Purchasing and Logistics Manage the purchasing process, including purchase orders, confirmations, and supplier documentation; Coordinate shipments and ensure that all required documentation is complete and accurate; Prepare and verify customs documentation, packing slips, commercial invoices, and related shipping documents; Maintain traceability of purchased materials and shipments; Follow up with suppliers, carriers, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders; Monitor shipment status and proactively address delays, discrepancies, or documentation issues; Support compliance with applicable U.S. and cross-border import/export requirements. Qualifications Minimum of seven years of relevant experience in accounting, purchasing, procurement, logistics, or a related field; Strong accounting and bookkeeping experience; Experience managing sales tax filings and remittances in the United States; Knowledge of purchasing processes, purchase orders, invoicing, and financial documentation; Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail; Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a remote work environment; Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; Professional fluency in English; Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and reside in Florida or Delaware. Assets Experience with import/export operations and customs documentation; Experience coordinating cross-border shipments between Canada and the United States; Knowledge of U.S. sales tax requirements; Experience in the construction, manufacturing, architectural millwork, or custom cabinetry industry; Knowledge of Canadian business practices or experience working with a Canadian-based company. Work Conditions Full-time position; Fully remote work arrangement; Occasional travel will be required during the initial training and onboarding period; All necessary computer equipment will be provided, including a computer, monitor, keyboard, and mouse; Regular collaboration with team members based in Canada and the United States.

$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
