Overview The Distribution Associate I is an entry-level role responsible for performing one or two core distribution functions that include either picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and/or stocking. Associates in this role are expected to learn Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), follow safety and quality guidelines, maintain safety standards, and support efficient daily operations. This position operates in a Warehouse environment that includes variable temperatures, noise, and moving equipment. Job Functions Performs one or two core distribution tasks, meeting performance, safety, and quality expectations across the core distribution departments (picking, packing, and receiving). Performs shipping tasks, including staging, labeling, loading, and verifying outbound orders. Receives inbound shipments, inspects for damage or discrepancies, sorts materials, and updates inventory systems. Stocks and replenishes inventory locations, supporting cycle counts and inventory accuracy. Adheres to all company safety rules, regulations, and PPE requirements. Operates distribution equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks). Maintains housekeeping and safety standards to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient workspace. Follows SOPs consistently within assigned work areas and seeks clarification when needed. Maintains strict confidentiality. Performs other duties and/or tasks as assigned.
