Engagement Services Coordinator Cross Catholic Outreach is a Catholic ministry with an ecumenical staff of Catholic, Protestant, and Eastern Orthodox believers working in unity to provide food, water, housing, education, orphan support, medical care, micro-enterprise, and disaster relief and the love of our Lord Jesus Christ to the poorest of the poor in more than 30 countries around the world. PCS Administrative and Operations Manager Position Summary:
The Engagement Services Coordinator supports parishes, schools and community partners by supporting engagement services, volunteer activities, and logistics that enable faith-in-action initiatives year-round. This role serves as additional support to the BOJ Logistics Manager during the height of the Box of Joy (BOJ) season, assisting with warehouse operations, shipping, and volunteer supervision to meet production goals and deliver an excellent volunteer experience. This role will also support other aspects of engagement initiatives, such as Food Packing Events, as needed. Educational or Certification
Requirements:
Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred, or commensurate experience.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in logistics, coordination, or customer service.

Must have knowledge of the Catholic Church and the structure of Catholic parishes and schools.
Ability to interact across all organizational levels; professional, joyful, service-oriented demeanor.
Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple projects and deadlines; proactive problem solver.
Excellent written and verbal communication; Spanish speaking a plus; public speaking comfort and coaching ability.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google Docs. CRM experience is a plus.
Ability to lift to 50 lbs.; nights/weekends/extended hours as needed.
Experience with performing inventory cycle counts or audits is a plus.
Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally up to approximately 1-3x per year for conferences and vision trips to international Cross Catholic Outreach project sites Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist with customer support for parishes/communities actively participating in Box of Joy and Food Packing Events; shipping requests, responding to inquiries, and coordinating resources.
Maintain accurate process documentation and related engagement data.
Collaborate with PCS, Donor Program Services, Marketing and other stakeholders to maximize the impact of faith in action initiatives.
Contribute to policies/standard operating procedures (SOPs) that standardize engagement processes and volunteer activities.
Assist the BOJ Logistics Manager with start-to-finish Box of Joy operations: domestic shipping (to/from screening center), volunteer logistics at the warehouse, and BOJ Online fulfillment.
Support and assist with the creation and execution of in-land shipping strategy, inventory control, and transport from participating locations/dioceses to the BOJ hub; engage 3rd-party carriers and overland freight bookings.
Assist with warehouse facilities and tools/resources; direct on-site operations to meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness goals.
Collaborate with the Logistics Manager on inventory control, ordering bulk supplies, and shipping of materials required per food packing event or Box of Joy needs.
Work with the Logistics Manager to organize and order materials needed for all Food Packing Events. Set up the food packing supply bin for each food packing event. Clean up and replenish supplies after events.
Warehouse inventory on a regular basis for Box of Joy supplies and filler items.
Uphold organizational protocols for donor/volunteer/vendor records and documentation; share constructive feedback to improve processes/strategies.
Other duties as assigned.
Pay:
$23.07 - $27.26 per hour
