Our Logistics Coordinator position involves sourcing carriers for customer shipments and handling communications with the customer from origin to destination. An ideal candidate must be comfortable in many types of software. The candidate must have the ability to be clear and concise. Our customers are unique and the Logistics Coordinator needs to accurately service many different types of transactions while meeting customer expectations. Responsibilities Making and receiving a high volume of phone calls. Capable of negotiating transportation rates and expectations with carriers. Accurately enter carrier/customer details and correspondence into software. Review and manage process flow to ensure client's expectations are met. Make customer service calls, send customer service emails throughout load transit.

Qualifications:

2 yrs experience in dispatching/customer service/account management at a freight brokerage or asset trucking company. Brokerage experience preferred. Honesty and timeliness are paramount to this position. Be diligent and accountable. A strong employee will be independent and accountable to their work. Demonstrate confidence in interpersonal skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Understanding of freight brokerage and trucking/transportation industry.
