This is an ideal opportunity for an organized, proactive professional looking to grow their experience in logistics and supply chain operations. This position reports to the Director of Supply Chain. Responsibilities Inbound Logistics & PO Tracking Track purchase orders from supplier through delivery Coordinate freight booking — incl parcel, LTL, FTL and international container Maintain freight cost tracking for LTL/FTL and other non-contracted shipments Coordinate pickup/delivery scheduling and shipment documentation Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate delays/issues Warehouse Execution Process and communicate inbound loads with 3PLs Coordinate inventory transfers between facilities Support new-item setup with warehouses Execute warehouse requests/processes supporting inventory movement Receiving & Discrepancy Resolution Process PO/inventory receipts Research and resolve receiving discrepancies Manage shortages/overages, damages, credits and returns Resolve delivery issues with suppliers, warehouses and carriers Coordinate warehouse and freight claim submissions and tracking for inventory damage, loss and other warehouse-related discrepancies Escalate systemic warehouse/supplier/carrier issues Systems & Data Integrity Maintain Supply Chain sku specifications across internal/external systems Conduct product specification and shipping-data audits, including FedEx ship-spec validation against supplier specifications Maintain warehouse item/setup information Track supplier lead times and maintain system lead times based on stated or approved adjusted assumptions Support data cleanup and system-integrity initiatives Reporting & Data Support Own recurring Supply Chain report generation and distribution (e.g., Dead/excess reporting and weekly purchasing analytics) Run ad hoc operational reporting as needed Experience & Qualifications 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain operations, inventory control, purchasing support, or a related role Working knowledge of freight, warehousing, inventory, and purchase order processes Experience working with suppliers, carriers, warehouses/3PLs, or other supply chain partners Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including vlookups, formula creation, filters, pivot tables, data reconciliation, and working with large data sets Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when working with shipment documents, inventory quantities, item specifications, and costs Clear written and verbal communication skills Able to manage multiple priorities and proactively resolve issues Familiarity with ERP, inventory, or shipping systems preferred Strong integrity, good judgment, and listening skills.
