Job Description

Position Summary The Vendor Network Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, supervision, and execution of the vendor management process, including strategic oversight, internal governance, performance monitoring, price negotiating, and market assignment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop and drive the framework for vendor management and governance within the Trades division. Grow and maintain the Trades vendor network through developing a strategy and processes around sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and training on work order management system and processes. Work with the Vendor Compliance department to ensure new vendors are properly and completely onboarded. Work with the Vendor Compliance department to ensure compliance with all necessary insurance and licensing requirements are met. Develop and maintain effective communication and positive working relationships with all Service Partners. Review & communicate performance metrics with Service Partners on a regular basis. Facilitate remote and/or on-site vendor audits when required and appropriate. Ensure Service Partner database is accurate, up to date. Ensure that vendor related processes are operational and functioning as needed. Drive vendor behavior and deliver continuous improvement in vendor performance that fosters revenue and earnings growth and expense management. Perform vendor analysis to identify and or measure cost savings initiatives or service level execution and make recommendations for improvement. Provide leadership to influence and strategically lead the vendor management processes and oversee the department activities and socialization within the organization. Liaison to vendor for the operations team as needed to assist with work order escalations and issues. Balance and lead the vendor related pipeline of projects with stakeholders and executives. Additional Duties and Responsibilities Perform other related duties as required and assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Competencies Leadership skills balanced with a willingness to play a "hands-on" role with key projects. Strong written, verbal and presentation skills required to effectively discuss and communicate vendor strategies at all levels. Ability to think strategically and objectively to effectively translate data into actionable insights, strategies and financial plans. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, growing environment. Strong ability to build and develop positive working relationships with vendors and cross functionally within the organization. Excellent negotiating skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Technical capacity to learn new systems and software (Salesforce).
Educational Qualifications/Job Experience Requirements Education:
High School Diploma, General Education Degree, or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree is a plus
Experience Required:
3+ years' management experience and knowledge Successful experience in developing and maintaining vendor relationships Experience in managing budgets Experience in Trade Services is a plus
