Position Overview Sofidel America of______ is currently seeking a Transport-Office Assistant (TOA). We are searching for a dynamic candidate that is local to the area and is looking for a long term role in a stable environment. Your expertise will make you an important part of our team! As a TOA, you will be responsible for organizing transportation vehicles in order to deliver the goods in accordance with the required service standards and the Group's procedures. Job Responsibilities Organize and book transport vehicles in order to deliver goods to all areas of interest, in accordance with the assigned aims in terms of cost-effectiveness and service level. Match invoices from the logistic suppliers to ensure that the costs accounted for. Support the Transport Office Supervisor in the systematic assessment of the quality in the carriers' service. Support the corporate departments who require assistance on topics of distribution logistics. Responsible for the correct management of relevant processes in accordance with the group policies and procedures. Promote a safety-bound corporate culture. Performs other job related duties in the area of responsibility as assigned. Job Requirements High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics and transportation is required. Excellent organizational skills.
