Job Description

Summary of Position We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating manufacturing operations to ensure customer orders are completed on time, printers' full utilization within budget and ensure quality standards. This role works closely with production area, customers, and sales team to optimize workflow, maximum efficiency, and maintain production schedules. Responsibilities/Duties Develop and maintain detailed daily, weekly and monthly production schedules based on customer demand and production capacity. Coordinate with manufacturing, purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure raw materials are available for production. Raw Material planning and issuing purchase orders Set up BOM and product codes. Work order and ERP troubleshooting Monitor production progress and adjust schedule to address delays, equipment downtime, or material shortages. Analyze production capacity, labor availability, and machine utilization to improve efficiency. Track work-in-progress (WIP) and ensure orders are completed on schedule. Communicate production status and delivery timelines to internal departments and customers as needed. Maintain accurate production planning data in ERP/MRP systems and prepare production reports. Collaborate with quality assurance to ensure products meet customer specifications and company standards. Identify opportunities to improve productions processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity. Support inventory management by balancing production requirements with stock levels. Minimum Qualifications Required Associate's or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Business, or a related field (preferred). 2-5 years of production planning or scheduling experience, preferably in textile or manufacturing environments. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, inventory control, and production scheduling. Experience using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and time management abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities. Competencies Must be organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to multitask. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
