Job Description
Job Description Summary Job Description Summary Responsible for end-to-end purchase order (PO) execution and material planning within the Global Fulfilment organization. Manages the full PO lifecycle — from placement through on-time delivery — while coordinating supply and demand planning activities with suppliers, planners, and internal stakeholders. Applies sourcing and planning best practices, has working knowledge of how this role integrates with broader supply chain and manufacturing operations, and understands market/supplier dynamics affecting delivery performance. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Place, track, and expedite purchase orders; proactively manage PO backlog to ensure on-time supplier delivery. Own supplier relationship management related to PO fulfilment, resolving delivery risks, schedule changes, and quality/technical issues. Reconcile supply plans against demand signals; flag capacity, material, or schedule constraints early and drive resolution. Maintain accurate and timely ERP data (POs, dates, quantities) to ensure planning integrity. Partner with Manufacturing, Planning, and Sourcing teams to align priorities and resolve cross-functional bottlenecks. Serve as a subject-matter resource on PO execution and planning best practices; support onboarding/training of less experienced team members. Identify and lead process improvement initiatives (small-to-medium scope) to improve OTD (on-time delivery), lead time, or planning accuracy. Communicate complex supply/schedule issues clearly to stakeholders and build consensus on resolution paths. Use data analysis to support recommendations and influence decisions; escalate appropriately when broader input is required. Operate with moderate autonomy under established policies, applying judgment to resolve moderately complex planning and execution issues. Required Qualifications Master's degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 6 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning, or related field; OR a high school diploma/GED with at least 7 years of relevant experience. Minimum 6 years of significant experience in procurement, PO execution, or supply/material planning. Hands-on ERP experience (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Axapta, or BaaN). Desired Characteristics Strong oral and written communication skills; comfortable working across global, cross-functional teams and time zones. Strong interpersonal, influencing, and leadership skills. Proficiency with Excel and/or Power BI for data analysis and reporting. Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies. Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve supply/schedule problems independently. Established project management skills; ability to lead small-to-medium improvement initiatives. This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
