Who You Are:
As a Logistics Associate at The Urban Electric Co., you are a dependable team player who supports the weekend shift in critical areas of the Logistics Department. Your primary focus is to ensure kitting, stow-away, and receiving operations are completed efficiently and meet internal standards. You are hands-on and organized, with a strong attention to detail and a sense of ownership over your workspace. You work well with others, follow direction with consistency, and are comfortable using scanners and basic inventory tools to perform your work. You understand how your role helps keep materials flowing and production moving, and you take pride in being a key contributor to our weekend logistics operations. This position will require you to work Friday

A Day in the
Life:
In any given weekend shift, you might find yourself doing the following: Support Across Logistics Operations Perform kitting tasks by picking and assembling parts according to kit requirements and delivering them to the designated production areas. Receive and verify incoming shipments by checking quantities, part numbers, and basic condition before routing for stow. Organize and put away received parts into proper storage locations, ensuring bins and locations are clearly labeled and accessible. Identify any visible damage or discrepancies and report them to the team lead. Support general area organization of logistics areas, keeping aisles, bins, and WIP zones clear and ready for production use. Collaborate with other associates and leads to ensure materials are ready for production by Monday morning. Move materials or parts using appropriate equipment (manual carts, pallet jacks, forklifts). Communicate status updates clearly during shift handoff or when issues arise. Data Management Use barcode scanners and handheld devices to perform transactions like part moves, stow-away, and kit pulls. Enter basic transaction data into the ERP system as trained. Ensure kit or part labels are printed and applied accurately. Alert the team lead or if you encounter system errors, missing items, or location mismatches. Follow standard work instructions and documentation procedures. What Will Set You Up for

You take initiative and enjoy staying busy, especially when there are clear goals and expectations. You value accuracy and take the time to double-check your work. You communicate well and aren't afraid to ask questions or raise issues when something isn't right. You like working in a clean, organized environment and help maintain it. You're comfortable using warehouse tools like barcode scanners and are open to learning new systems and processes. You are punctual, dependable, and bring a positive attitude to the team. You are physically capable of moving parts, navigating warehouse spaces, and supporting production needs. Previous experience with an inventory system or warehouse environment.
Physical Requirements:
The ability to lift 50 lbs. or more, several times a day. Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time. Ability to operate a forklift or be trained to do so.
Personal Protective Equipment Required:
Steel Toe Boots (company provided voucher each year)
