As a full-time Demand Planner in the Supply Chain Department at Aalberts, located in Pageland, SC you will be responsible for maintaining planning data integrity, supporting demand planning processes, and delivering accurate reports and analytics to enable effective supply chain decision-making. For yourself, for the company, and for our planet. your challenge Data Management & System Maintenance Maintain demand planning master data including lead times, reorder points, safety stock levels, planning parameters, and item-branch settings. Ensure data accuracy and integrity within ERP, MRP, and demand planning systems. Perform routine audits of planning data and resolve discrepancies. Create, update, and maintain item master records, supplier records, and demand planning attributes. Monitor system-generated demand signals and investigate exceptions. Support ERP data cleansing initiatives and standardization efforts. Maintain planning assumptions, stocking policies, and replenishment settings. Reporting & Analytics Develop, maintain, and publish daily, weekly, and monthly supply chain reports. Create dashboards and KPIs to monitor demand, inventory, service levels, forecast accuracy, and customer performance. Analyze historical demand, inventory trends, and order patterns to identify risks and opportunities. Support root cause analysis for demand fluctuations, inventory shortages, and service failures. Provide ad hoc reporting and data analysis to support business decisions. Demand Planning Support Generate and maintain baseline demand forecasts using historical demand and business inputs. Review forecast exceptions and coordinate updates with commercial and operational teams. Support monthly demand review meetings and planning cycles. Monitor forecast consumption and customer ordering patterns. Assist with new product introductions, phase-outs, and demand transitions. Inventory & Replenishment Support Review inventory levels and identify excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory. Recommend adjustments to safety stock, reorder points, and planning policies. Monitor item availability and support resolution of material shortages. Assist planners in balancing inventory investment with service objectives. Cross-Functional Coordination Partner with Purchasing, Supply Planning, Customer Service, Operations, and Sales teams to ensure planning data supports business requirements. Communicate data issues, planning exceptions, and system changes to stakeholders. Support continuous improvement initiatives within Planning and Supply Chain processes. Participate in ERP enhancements, testing, and implementation projects. requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, Analytics, or related field. 2-5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain analytics, inventory management, or master data management. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Power Query, and data analysis. Experience using ERP systems such as JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Ability to manage large datasets while maintaining high accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Targeted attributes Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other reporting tools. Knowledge of MRP, DRP, inventory planning, and replenishment processes.
