Qualifications/Abilities You Bring:

• minimum of 3-5 years of direct experience as a Munitions Management Specialist.

Job Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

Performing stock control and accounting for all types of ammunition and explosives within the

CENTCOM AOR.

Logistics and Supply Chain:

Managing the distribution of munitions from depots to various Ammunition Supply Points (ASPs) within the CENTCOM.

Safety and Compliance:

Enforcing strict adherence to all safety protocols for handling, storing, and transporting hazardous materials. This includes ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) and Army regulations.

Forecasting and Planning:

Developing and validating ammunition requirements for both training and operational needs. This involves analyzing historical data, forecasting future needs, and preparing necessary documentation for budget submissions.

Technical Support and Training:

Providing technical guidance and support on ammunition-related matters to military and civilian personnel as necessary. This may include providing training on ammunition management systems and procedures.

Demilitarization and Disposal:

Overseeing the proper procedures for the demilitarization and disposal of unserviceable or excess ammunition and explosives, in accordance with all safety and environmental regulations.
