Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate various types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to deliver goods to designated locations. Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport. Perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients, addressing any questions or concerns regarding deliveries. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving, promoting a safe working environment. Assist in moving items as needed during loading and unloading processes. Support shipping area activities, including packing, labeling, organizing, and staging materials for shipment. Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties in warehouse, shipping, and work areas to maintain a safe and organized environment. Support other operational, warehouse, shipping, and facilityrelated duties as assigned to meet business needs. Requirements Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo. Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, or similar equipment is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Previous experience in commercial driving or related fields is advantageous. Must be able to work flexible hours as required by delivery schedules. A commitment to safety and compliance with all transportation regulations.
