POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS
): The Material Coordinator will provide the necessary support to operate and maintain the warehouse facilities. The work involved is typical of normal warehouse operations. General Duties Unload and inspect supplies and material from various suppliers Notify buyer and supplier of shipment discrepancies Notify responsible individual of the supplies and material upon arrival Enter receipts and information into MAXIMO and FIMS Create and maintain files for all purchased items and monthly invoices Tag property with bar codes, stock number, and asset labels Create Asset within MAXIMO and maintain changes Store property inwarehouses and wareyards Issue stock items to work orders Prepare and ship outgoing items from warehouse Annual physical inventory of all warehouses and wareyards Evaluate inventory for usage and excess stock Help with disposal of obsolete and excess materials Locate requested items and research availability and prices Provide purchase requisition and credit card purchase for projects and warehouse supplies Pick up and deliver to/from various locations throughout the outlying areas Safely operate handcarts, forklifts and vehicles Clean, maintain and schedule repairs for warehouse equipment and vehicles Keep an organized and clean warehouse facility Assist with security inspections (lock doors and gates) Assist with snow removal at warehouse facility Receive monthly invoice in FIMS, keep files stored and maintain electronic spreadsheet Run inventory and reordering reports Enter daily timesheet and keep monthly spreadsheet matrix Attend weekly meetings Phone Coverage Field phone call and emails from co-worker, suppliers and transport centers Mail Duties Deliver mail daily between the administration building and warehouse Sort and distribute incoming daily mail for warehouse employees Produce shipping labels and schedule package pickups for employees from outlaying facilities Package and ship packages for employees at Huron, SD Clerical Duties and Administrative Support Maintain office supplies (copier, fax, printer and shredder)
Pay Rate:
$22.50 Hourly
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Computer Usage to include experience with Microsoft Office Valid Driver's License Physical capabilities with ability to lift, carry and bend Pursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.S. Citizen.
