Job Title:
Supply Chain Support Specialist Job Description The Supply Chain Support Specialist plays a key role in supporting daily supply chain operations within a corporate aerospace environment. This position focuses on purchasing coordination, inventory tracking, logistics support, and documentation management to ensure smooth material flow, accurate records, and efficient supply chain processes across the organization. This is a 12‑month contract opportunity with a growing aerospace firm based in Everett, WA. Responsibilities Assist with daily supply chain operations to support the overall efficiency of the organization. Coordinate purchasing activities, including creating, processing, and tracking purchase orders. Support procurement processes by collaborating with internal stakeholders and vendors as needed. Track inventory levels to help maintain accurate records of materials and supplies. Monitor and update inventory data to support ordering decisions and prevent stockouts or overstock situations. Provide logistics support, including coordinating the movement of materials and ensuring timely delivery. Perform data entry related to purchasing, inventory, and logistics in company systems with a high level of accuracy. Maintain and organize documentation related to purchasing, inventory, and supply chain activities. Offer administrative support to the supply chain and purchasing teams, including preparing reports and maintaining records. Deliver professional customer service to internal teams and external partners regarding supply chain and purchasing inquiries. Use Microsoft Office tools to create, update, and manage spreadsheets, documents, and reports that support supply chain operations. Support continuous improvement of supply chain processes by following established procedures and identifying opportunities for greater efficiency. Essential Skills 1-2 years of experience working in a corporate setting with responsibilities related to inventory and purchasing. Experience in customer service within a business or corporate environment. administrative support, including handling documentation and office tasks. Proficiency in data entry with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Hands-on experience with purchasing and procurement activities. Understanding of basic supply chain principles, including ordering, logistics, and inventory management. Ability to support purchasing coordination and process purchase orders. Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and documentation. Clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external partners. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience supporting buyer or purchasing functions in a corporate environment. Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor coordination. Exposure to logistics support, including coordinating shipments and deliveries. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, growing aerospace or manufacturing environment. Comfort working with inventory tracking systems or business software to manage supply chain data. Demonstrated reliability and professionalism in a corporate office setting. Work Environment This role is based in a normal corporate office setting in Everett, WA within a large aerospace firm. The work involves typical office activities such as computer-based tasks, documentation management, and collaboration with supply chain and purchasing teams. Standard business hours are expected, with work performed primarily on-site in a professional environment. Business-appropriate attire is required, consistent with a corporate office setting. The position is offered as a 12‑month contract, providing the opportunity to gain experience in a growing aerospace organization and work with established supply chain processes and tools. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Everett, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
