Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking reliable and motivated Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of vehicles, including vans and box trucks. Duties Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, ensuring safe transportation of goods. Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks. Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while maintaining a schedule. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage and fuel usage. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and management regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise. Assist in heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes. Skills Proficient in driving various types of vehicles, including vans and box trucks. Experience with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading procedures. Prior experience with appliance delivery and connections Prior experience with delivery and assembly of items such as athletic equipment, furniture, and grills for example Ability to operate a pallet jack. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage route driving efficiently. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Capability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily responsibilities. Previous experience as a courier or in a similar driving role is a plus.
