Job Description
Transportation Engineering Specialist STV, Inc. dental insurance, life insurance, vision insurance, parental leave, paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k) United States, Tennessee, Chattanooga Sep 02, 2026 STV is looking for a Transportation Engineering Specialist out of either our Franklin or Chattanooga, TN locations.
You will have the opportunity to learn from some of the best engineers in the business and work on all stages of the project development process, from early planning through final design. We regularly work on the development of construction plans, design specifications, construction cost estimates, and generate studies and reports on road/bicycle/rail projects for numerous public agencies. Our team also develops erosion control, roadside drainage, work zone traffic control, pavement marking, and signing plans. The candidate will be responsible for: Supporting on multidisciplinary projects
Assisting with the design of alignments and details, grading, drainage, traffic control and other infrastructure and site design
Interacting with client teams and engineers in other technical disciplines
Design using
MicroStation and Open Roads Designer Required Skills & Required Experience:
BS/MS degree in Civil Engineering
0-4 years of experience including internships
EIT Certification preferred
Exposure to transportation design, or closely related engineering field
Knowledge of Bentley MicroStation & Bentley Open Roads Designer a plus, but we'll teach you

Compensation Range:
$68,451.28 - $78,230.03 STV offers the following benefits
