In this role, you will handle raw materials, inventory, and shipping in a chemical or industrial production environment, and oversea the safe movement and tracking for product components. This role supports the manufacturing operations with a focus on enhanced product quality. This is not intended to be all-inclusive; the employee may perform other duties as assigned and may be required to work additional hours based on business needs. Duties Accurately conduct daily checklist requirements for equipment as per SOPs. Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, or reach-truck forklifts to move raw chemical components, specialized processing kits, and finished goods. Yard truck experience a plus. Stage, load, and unload flatbeds, freight trucks, and industrial railcars containing hazardous materials or bulk ingredients. Deliver exact quantities of raw inventory to production lines, mixers, or furnaces according to strict batch sheets. Perform production operations as needed. Inspect freight for damage, match shipping manifests, ensure correct Department of Transportation (DOT) placards are displayed on railcars, and strictly manage hazardous waste storage. Adhere strictly to OSHA standards, conduct daily pre-shift forklift inspections. Monitor tanks, containers and warehouse areas for leaks, spills and safety concerns., and handle chemical spills or emergency response protocols as needed. Requirements Must be 18+ years old with a High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 5 years of logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or chemical operations. Basic computer skills. Ability to read Safety Data Sheets (SDS), shipping documents, and strong attention to detail. Active forklift operator certification (or the ability to pass the company's evaluation within 30 days). Comfort working in intense environment-specific gear. Capabilities to lift up to 50 lbs, climb industrial ladders or stairs, and operate manual valves in varied weather settings (indoor/outdoor). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and lab software.
